Safe and Sound Blog Post
I learned how to cut audio and make it flow with the video and the shots. i also learned that you can crop shots and make them look more nessary and crop out useless background images. I liked this project a lot I learned more about collaboration and camera techniques to enhance the production of the film and over al quality of the story. Safe and Sound in my eyes isn't my best work the story could of been stronger and more storyboarding and all team efforts were needed and we simply didn't have that.

90Second Music Video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lX_tiJ0h5As&feature=youtu.be
What I Learned: I learned how to line it up with the beat and make the audio sound good. I also learned that to cut out of shots you don't need. We had a lot of walking shots and I cut out a lot of those to get the real point of the video.
How I Can Apply It To My Next Project: I can work on making sure there isn't to many walking shots and really work with getting the beat. I can also make sure you aren't looking at a shot longer and cut it down. Cutting down can help but making sure you don't cut out to much. Get the important stuff and just represent that and not have shots that aren't important.
Did I Like It Better: I liked it a whole lot better because looking at my other video it didn't make sense. To much walking around and it didn't really capture it what the main point. I liked going back and color correcting things back in. I did a different story then most of the people in my group and I think it captures it a lot better.

Safe and Sound
What I learned: I learned that you need to have a strong idea before you go in. Are idea could of been more planned out. It was a lot of walking to the destinations we need some of those but majority of our video was walking from point A to point B. I would of liked having more action shots not all theses walking shots. The story is easy to understand but it get long in the middle.
What I will apply next time: I will get a stronger idea and work on making the story adapted more. I want my shots to be clearer and more understandable.
Collaboration: Our group worked decently well together, Brendan and I argued a lot about focusing on the task at hand. We had a lot fun our personality worked well but focusing and staying on task was hard for us. If we all would of had some ideas from the beginning and song choices. Our story would work better. On accident we didn't notice one of are team members was here and we started filming without him which was bad.

Plausible But Impossible
What makes this plausible but impossible how Micky is in a dream. He dreams of going in a reverse world and this shows him transferring to the other world. What makes this impossible is that you can't walk through a mirror and transfer somewhere else. You can't just transport somewhere else where all objects are alive. Objects don't just come to alive and try chasing you.
A nutcracker doesn't just take the nut its cracking and eat the shell. Nut crackers don't just come alive and eat the shells thats impossible. But how Disney makes it look plausible is use human emotions and make act like a human inside an object. Micky realizes its a nut cracker and the emotion on his face tells that he is like "woah" this isn't suppose to do it. He doesn't know yet he is in a world where everything comes to life.
This screenshot is of Micky getting ready to shrink after eating a but that the nutcracker cracked. This is impossible you can't just start growing and getting smaller and changing that dramatically. How its possible is that we see the changing join on and we know something dramatic is going to happen this is illustrating that Mickey is transforming. They needed those changes to show he was going to change if you didn't have it it would just be big Mickey now little Mickey.
What makes this plausible is that Micky was playing with the cards and then became one of cards by getting shuffled into the deck. He became one of the cards, what makes this impossible is you can't become a card and fold into a card and be smashed into the cards.
What makes this plausible is he is fighting off the cards in the story and he uses the pen as a ink gun. He is shooting the cards with ink to distract them and make his escape. What makes this impossible is you can't shoot people with ink and the cards wouldn't be chasing you this is a show of being defensive and guarding. but in real life you can't shot cards with ink in a show of that defense and cards wouldn't be chasing you in the first place.

multi-playing animation
What I Learned:
In this project we learned how to create a moving scene using 5 different layers with different distances. I learned how to use the ruler tool in photoshop to practically cut it up into pieces and for this project I used it to benefit me. I also learned that you have to make sure you merge your layers because if you don't when you go into aftereffects in might not work it happened to me. I liked this project it wasn't very hard and it had me understand more of keyframes and timing in aftereffects.

The chase
What I learned:
I learned that you need to have your props and clothing every day with you or it will look different. This happened in my story when you can see how my hair started up and then goes down and it was constantly up to down. I also learned that make sure your iris ring is down and not all the way up because one of shots was so bright and we couldn't change it in Final Cut pro.
How I worked with my group:
We sometimes disagreed on things and we forgot our materials once and overall thought we worked well together. No one really said this is my idea or the highway. I wanted everyone to have good input and be the position they wanted.
What I could do better:
well next time maybe figure out all our shots and have a more adapted storyboard. Our storyboard wasn't the best and it didn't really have what we needed on it. It didn't have a very good story line to follow this isn't my best work I wish we would came up with a better idea and really stick with that we dint really stick with a constant idea.
